Aussie Tyson Nelson wins Pro Class

A bumper entry over 70 riders enjoyed a great day's riding at Round 2 of the Silkolene Shorttrack UK Club championship at Rye House Speedway Stadium on Sunday 17th. Aussie Speedway rider Tyson Nelson took the Pro Class by storm with two wins and a second, taking the overall win from Ade Collins and Pete Boast in third. At the oppisite end of the scale, the first ever Novice Class win went to Stuart Lovell on a CCM, with two wins and a second. The Restricted Class saw some great racing,wins went to David Holman, Alan Birtwistle, Geoff Cain, George Pickering and Ant Brown but points win went to Dave Holman. Steve Coles took his second win in the Club Championship in the Thunderbikes and so did Mark Richardson in the Mini Bikes. Junior Classes were well supported again, with Ben Neave taking his first win in the Juniors, Oliver Brindley taking a clean sweep in the Inters and there was also a second win of the season for Tom Neave in the Youth Class.
