	26 November 2006, Silkolene Shorttrackuk Championship 2007! We are happy to be able announce the dates for the 2007 Short Track UK Series, with two exciting additions to the championship being added to the mix. The series will kick off on April 14th at the popular Norfolk Arena and when we return to the arena later in the year it will be for our first ever TT event, which adds left and right hand bends, as well as a jump to the usual oval racing. The other exciting development for the 2007 Championship is that for the first time in this country there will be the chance to see dirt track racing on a half mile oval. We are still awaiting final confirmation from the Amman Valley track in Wales but are confident that we will get approval so that we can run our first ever half mile event. We are also pleased to confirm that a further two rounds will be staged at the BMF Show, where we appreciate the atmosphere of the large capacity crowds and return visits to the excellent Eastbourne and Mildenhall tracks will round out the series. 	25 November 2006, International Shorttrack Cup 2007 Various points are being reviewed for 2007 in order to build stronger events and to offer the fans more and better spectacles! 1. Both quads and bikes will race at the same events! 2. The starting grids will be rotated during the heat races! 3. Only the final starting grid will be based on success, and will count for double points! Both Quadwelt and Mover Magazin have committed to give full press coverage for every event! Verschiedene Punkte werden für die Saison 2007 in Betracht gezogen, um die Veranstaltungen zu verbessern und den Fans ein noch grösseres Spektakel zu bieten! 1. Quads und Motorräder sollen an den Veranstaltungen teilnehmen! 2. Die Startaufstellungen der Vorläufe sollen rotiert werden! 3. Die Startaufstellung des Finals wird bestimmt durch den Gesamterfolg der Vorläufe und soll doppelt gewertet werden! Sowohl Quadwelt als auch Mover Magazin werden über jeden Short Track Lauf berichten!

	12 November 2006, Nations Cup of Short track 2007! Premiere!! 2007 will see the first Nations Cup of Short track! The event will be staged on Sunday, 20th May during the BMF show in Peterborough, England! The BMF Show already attracts 40,000 to 50,000 bikers every year, so it promisses to be a fantastic event! Thanks to our friends from Short track UK to take this fabulous initiative! information & registration In 2007 wird ein Cup der Nationen ausgetragen! Die Veranstaltung findet am 20. Mai 2007 im Rahmen der BMF Show in Peterborough, England statt! Die BMF Show ist die grösste Bike Messe in England und zählt jedes Jahr zwischen 40000 und 50000 Besucher. 	28 October 2006, International Short track cup 2006! Congratulations to Jacopo Monti, the new champion of the International Shorttrack Cup 2006. Hans Freundorfer used his consistancy to come home 2nd, and Jan-Willem Jansen made it 3rd in his debut season! Jacopo Monti wurde Meister des Shorttrack Cups 2006. 2. wurde Hans Freundorfer und Jan-Willem Jansen wurde 3. Gratulation!

	28 October 2006, Badia Calavena Race! The last round of the German championship was held on the speedway track of Badia Calavena (I)! Marco Belli won the race ahead of Jacopo Monti and Hans Freundorfer. Die letzte Runde der Deutschen Shorttrack Meisterschaft wurde auf dem Speedway Ring von Badia Calavena durchgeführt! Es siegt Marco Belli vor Jocopo Monti und Hans Freundorfer.

	21 October 2006, Training in Herxheim! Before the last race of the season, we went for a training session in Herxheim. We had a great day, with beautiful weather, and a fantastic track. Vor dem letzten Rennen waren wir in Herxheim zum Training. Wir hatten einen tollen Tag, super Wetter und konnten auf einer fantastischen Strecke fahren.

	16 September 2006, Peterborough Race! Short track UK will return to Peterborough for round 9 of the championship! Die 9. Runde der britischen Short Track Meisterschaft wird eine fantastische Veranstaltung!

	3 September 2006, Stoke race! Another mud fight at Stoke! Round 8 of Short track UK was held on the waterlogged track at Stoke. Der 8. Lauf findet in Stoke statt. Siehe auch Short track UK.

	28 August 2006, Berlin race CANCELLED! Round 5 of Short track Germany was planned on the horse track of Berlin Karlshorst. Permission has been vetoed by the water protection committee, so the entire event has to be cancelled.

	27 august 2006, Scheessel race! Round 3 of the European Short track Championship will be held on the big Sand track in Scheessel. Die 3. Runde der Europäischen Shorttrack Meisterschaft findet auf den grossen Sandbahn in Scheessel statt.

	26 August 2006, Bad Hersfeld Race CANCELLED! The 4th round of the German championship was scheduled to be run under flood light on the grass track of Bad Hersfeld! Unfortunately the continuous rainfall of the previous days had flooded the track and the entire event had to be cancelled. Die 4. 	15 July 2006, Landshut Race! The first race of the German Short track Championship was a great success! A strong international rider field with close racing on a great track in Landshut and a fantastic atmosphere! Das erste Rennen der Deutschen Shorttrack-Cup Meisterschaft fand in Landshut statt. Ein starkes internationales Feld wurde von einer fantastische Menge von Zuschauern angefeuert! Es war ein erfolgreicher Renntag.

	2-9 July 2006, Du Quoin (Illinois) Race! This years Grand National Championship ran an International class. The European colors were defended by the Short track UK riders Tim Greig, Peter Boast & Marco Belli! An der diesjährigen Grand National Meisterschaft fand ein internationales Rennen statt. 	20 May 2006, Peterborough Race! Round 3 of Short track UK was a fantastic event! Right at the centre of the BMF show racers from Italy, Netherlands, Switzerland & England rode their hearts out & fought some of the toughest battles ever seen in Europe! Die 3. Runde der britischen Short Track Meisterschaft war eine fantastische Veranstaltung! Mitten in der BMF Motorradmesse haben Fahrer aus England, Holland, Italien und aus der Schweiz einer der härtesten Kämpfe in Europa geliefert.

	7 May 2006, Stoke Race! The dutch come clean from a dirty fight with the brits! Due to unexpected dreadful weather conditions no championship points were awarded. But since all riders were there anyway, they went to play in the mud! See details here. Die Holländer schlagen zu bei einem schmutzigen Kampf mit den Briten! Wegen unerwartet schlechten Wetterbedingungen wurden keine Punkte vergeben. Da aber alle Fahrer so oder so vor Ort waren, vergnügten sie sich im Schlamm!

	7 May 2006, Love Ride Switzerland! We took a race bike to the Love-ride in the hope to find some new flat track fans in Switzerland... Well, at least they liked the bike since we ended up winning the show contest!! Wir nahmen eine Rennmaschine zum Love Ride in der Hoffnung neue Flat Track Fans in der Schweiz zu finden! Wie auch immer, sie mochten das Motorrad und wir landeten einen Sieg im Show Wettbewerb!!

	2 May 2006 Short track Germany is happening! Thomas Schiffner has finally awoken from his winter sleep! Short track Germany will now also adopt the American style tire regulations, same as short track UK. This would guarantee spectacular drifting, promote international rider fields, and represent a major step closer towards a unified European flat track scene! The current racing program is not totally fixed yet, but already counts 8 races, with the first round scheduled 29 July in Neustadt. Registration Thomas Schiffner ist aus seinem Winterschlaf erwacht! Short Track Deutschland wird neu ebenfalls auf American Style Pneus umgestellt, gleich wie Short Track GB. Dies garantiert spektakuläre Drifts, fördert das internationale Fahrerfeld und bedeutet einen grossen Schritt näher zur Vereinheitlichung der europäischen Flat Track Szene! Das laufende Rennprogramm ist noch nicht endgültig fixiert, zählt aber bereits 8 Rennen, die erste Runde für den 29. Juli 2006 ist geplant in Neustadt. Anmeldung

	15 April 2006 Easter practice in Lelystad! We all discovered the beautiful Short track at Lelystad. Very sticky and nice constant grip! This track might see more frequent visits from the Dutch short track scene in the future! Alle drei Dutch-Brothers treffen sich mit den holländischen Kollegen für einen fantastischen Trainingstag!
